A LITTLE ADVICE TO MODELS BOOKING WITH ME
Please make sure to tell me if you are late or want to cancel an appointment in advance. I find it disrespectful to waste others' time.
Bringing a escort, huby,bf,fiance, friend, bodyguard, whatever to the shooting is not a problem to me, as long as He/She/They dont interfere with the shooting…bring as many outfits as you want to diversify your port..meaning no limit..If you bring nothing I will
photograph you with no clothes at all…lol...the shots last an average of 2-3 hours depending locations, distances beetwen them and how fast the model is to change a outfit…I provide a CD with all images within 2-3 weeks after the shooting…
Right now I am interested in shooting the following:
Swim-bikini
Lingerie - Elegant Sexy, Lacy, Thigh Highs,
Nudes - Seductive and sensuous.
Implieds
so..if you are interested on one of these shoot me an e mail
Posing can be improved by getting books or videos, but mostly I think by looking over lots of magazines and tearing out pages of many different kinds of poses. You need to know poses for lying down, kneeling, sitting, standing, leaning and probably a few others
you may not have thought of. If you take the pages and sort them into different categories, you can practice each set as time allows and even bring a small book of poses with you for when you or the photographer runs out of ideas. Remember, any pose can be
changed by just altering any one body part position. Move your hips, bend a leg, tilt you head, chin up or down etc. Start practicing and be ready for your next shot. I don't mind helping models with this when I'm shooting, but my job is really taking the
photos and its a models job to know how to pose.
Facial expressions are another major area that needs to be worked on. One of the comments I hear over and over again on Americas Next Top Model is that the model's expressions looks the same in all the photos. Think of emotions such as fear, anger, sadness,
being happy, excited and much more. Again, it doesn't need to be a major change from one expression to the next. To help you out, practice in front of a mirror and when you are shooting look into the camera's lens and not at the photographer. Models often
say they can see themselves in the lens and it helps them with seeing their pose and expression. Looking into the lens also helps you connect with great eye contact. If you have eye contact with the lens, you will have eye contact with the person viewing your
photos.
The key here in both posing and expressions is to be versatile. With practice this will become more natural. Nothing looks worse than a fake expression. Ever see one of those cheesy fake smiles? Yech!!! Ok - so get out there and work on these. You'll be glad
you did and so will your photographer and clients.
One last thing--NO FLAKES!! If you stand me up after scheduling a photoshoot with me, not nice. It takes creative energy, time, expense and planning to make a shoot something we can be proud of. It doesn't just happen accidentally. Imagine if I didn't show
after you had gone to the trouble of preparing for the shoot. Isn't your time more valuable than that? Mine is…
Thank you...all..
